The full-width head compartment in the forepeak features a manual Raritan head, a large vanity with Italian marble countertop, varnished teak cabinetry providing plenty of storage, a roomy shower area, and a full-length mirror. There is access to the anchor locker from this compartment.

Next, aft to port is a queen sized Pullman berth with super comfortable crushed velour cushions. Drawers in the berth face a large double hanging locker to starboard to hold your gear and clothing.

The main cabin has a lovely and very substantial double drop-leaf centerline dining table. U-shared port and in-line starboard settees both have storage inside and triple lockers outboard above the berth backs. A Jensen 12-volt flat screen TV is mounted on the forward end bulkhead, above the port settee and is connected to a powered HD antenna -- you can also stream your favorite movies or show via the boat’s built-in WiFi system. The forward facing nav station is located at the forward end of the starboard settee with a lift-up chart table and newly rebuilt, varnished area for thoughtfully laid out, brand-new instrumentation and communication equipment.

The U-shaped galley feels very secure underway and very complete under all conditions. The deep double sinks are properly located on centerline with hot and cold pressure water faucet, bronze freshwater hand pump, and a new pressure salt water faucet. The gimballed four burner propane stove with oven and large icebox with Adler-Barbour DC refrigeration enables you to easily provide meals for a full crew.

Opposite the galley to starboard is the enclosed aft cabin with a double berth and large hanging locker offering private accommodations for a second couple.

Hull Construction

Construction is hand laid fiberglass reinforced plastic joined at the deck line. The hull to deck joint is a connection by horizontal overlapping flange mechanically and chemically fastened through teak toe rails. The toe rail is varnished teak. The hull and deck are foam cored. Design is a cutter rig, with external lead ballast cruising type keel and a keel hung rudder.

Machinery

Auxiliary power is by a single screw Yanmar, diesel inboard, 40 HP @ 3400 RPM. This is a model: 4JHE. It is a four cylinder, fresh water cooled, engine with 6,330 hours on it (per hour meter only). The serial no. is 01268. The transmission is a Kanzacki, two stage reduction gear , 2.6 to 1 ratio. The prop shaft is stainless steel 1 1/4” size. The propeller was a three bladed, bronze, 18” -feathering type. The exhaust is raw water cooled through a Vernalift fiberglass, muffler-wet to the transom.

The engine appears to have been well maintained reinforced the the presence of spare parts. Owner reports that she starts immediately, runs very well without any signs of problems.

The steering system is a wire cable to quadrant with a pedestal and large 52” teak destroyer type wheel. There is also an emergency tiller available as well as autopilot provision as a back up. There are two bilge pumps all 2500 GPH 12 VDC electric bilge pumps with auto float switch plus a manual hand bilge pump by Whale/Gusher. Through hull fittings are bronze with ball valve type sea-cocks.

Electrical Systems

The yacht electrical system is 12 volt DC with starting batteries plus a 115 volt AC shore power. There are two Hubbel type 30 amp shore power receptacles on the starboard side outboard coaming. Circuit protection is by breaker switches located at the panel next to the nav station. Wiring is apparently copper stranded. All batteries are secured in acid proof containers with protective covers. There are four European type rotary disconnect switches. The battery charger is a Mastervolt 50 amp charger. The boat also has European type disconnect switches . There is a Prowatt, #2750 inverter. We observed that the chain plates are wired to the keel in older lightning protection method.
