1996 Silverton 362 Sedan Cruiser
Video tour linked within this listing. The Silverton 362 Sedan Cruiser is a versatile model that can go offshore fishing, family cruising, or staying at the dock as a comfortable floating summer cottage, the latter of which is how the owners have used her during the last five years or so. The marina just went through the big block Crusader engines, replacing risers, acid cleaning the heat exchangers and coolers as well as other services, including sea trials to make sure she runs well at proper temperature. Features include: Air Conditioning, two staterooms, separate shower compartment, windlass, newer bridge enclosure, original electronics with autopilot and radar. The generator was removed years ago but the wiring & plumbing remain in place to make a new install easier.

Since owners haven't been leaving dock much over last five or so years, they had the marina mechanics the engines to ensure they will run well for the next owner. Service included:
New Risers left and right on both engines (Manifolds are freshwater cooled)
Heat exchangers and various coolers were "Barnacle Busted" to improve flow restrictions caused by scaling buildup.
1 water pump replaced
1 Impeller replaced
Boat hauled out and engine sea water intakes cleaned.
Sea trials performed to endure engines ran well at 175 degrees water temp.
Reported that the port tachometer and temp gauge readings are off but actual measurements at engine are good.
The generator was removed, rather than replacing it, years ago since the owners were always plugged into shore power when on the boat. The genset plumbing, electronics and fuel lines remain in place in the gen compartment which should make installation of a new generator easier if you think you need one.
The Silverton 362 Sedan Cruiser starts by combining the finest designs with the best of modern engineering and manufacturing methods. There are no short cuts. Every inch of the 362's fiberglass hull is hand-laid. Every material is the best. Intelligent utilization of techniques like modular design, standardization, just-in time manufacturing, and economies of scale allow Silverton to lower costs without cutting corners. It also allows Silverton to offer Marine Pac, the largest collection of standard features and amenities in the industry - features you'd expect to find on larger, more expensive yachts. They include luxuries and necessities like swim platforms, trim tabs, bow pulpits, microwaves, anchors, and boat hooks. In addition to the standard features, Silverton keeps boating safety in mind. An automatic fire extinguishing system, life preservers and much more are all standard on the 362.
