These days it is rare to find a boat with the capability and outstanding woodwork that the Tartan 4100 has. Buxtahuda is such a boat! From the her Aristo Blue Alcraft painted hull, white carbon fibre mast, and new tan dodger/bimini she shows “yacht like” whether under sail or at the mooring in your favorite harbor.
The interior cherry woodwork and the recently satin finished teak and holly sole show “as new”. There is access to the head from either the main salon or the aft head, a/c, varnished drop leaf table in the salon that can handle eight guests, and a very workable L shaped galley with a top and from loading icebox (Isotherm Refrigeration).
A very nice feature is the Mastervolt 3.5 generator which is positioned where it should be, just aft over the engine and high where it is easy to get to!
Always a New England boat Buxtahuda has been stored every winter since 2009 indoors and used lightly during the summer months. She will not disappoint!

Construction
The hull is constructed utilizing vacuum infused epoxy resins producing 65/35% glass to resin ration. Synthetic foam coring is utilized in the hull and end grain balsa in the deck. The deck is built with core "windows" where hardware is mounted. This impedes water from entering into the core through typical hardware installations. The keel is faired and coated with epoxy at factory.
