New Volvo Penta 375HP longblock installed winter 2020 with 0 hours at time this listing was posted. New Volvo OceanX sterndrive installed mid-season 2019 and has about ten hours of use at time this listing was posted. This boat basically has a new engine and drivetrain that matches the original but with some improvements including an upgraded aftermarket exhaust system.  The mechanic said the sterndrive replacement was absout $12K and the engine replacement about $18K, a total of around $30K.   

Why? The original Volvo Penta 375 had about 150 hours of use, which is not much, however a vulnerability of the Volvo gas engines are their exhaust systems, specifically the mixing elbow which corrodes internally over time, eventually causing water to ingress the engine, regardless of engine hours.  The chief mechanic who oversaw the installation of this new engine recommends replacing the original Volvo mixing elbow ahead of schedule with a better aftermarket brand. Unfortunately, by the time symptoms of a problem begin to to show themselves, damage to other internal engine components (corrosion to engine valves, water in cylinders) may have already occurred. According to the mechanic, this is something to be concerned about on any boat with Volvo Penta gas engine.

The original white bimini canvas and enclosure are in good serviceable condition, however they are showing spotting from mildew stains. While cleaning can help, the stains typically never go fully away. The bimini is being sent out for cleaning at the time of this posting.

The same condition is true for all of the white exterior seat cushion covers. They show low wear from light use, however mildew stains are prevalent. 

All of these soft goods are useable, but may not be up to your cosmetic expectations. As dealers for Hunt Yachts, we sell many used examples. In many cases, the new owners intend on replacing canvas and cushions to their own style preferences, making the boat their own, regardless of current condition. This is why we typically sell a boat with as-is cushions/canvas.

A recent quote to replace cushions and enclosure canvas on a Harrier 25 from a very good local canvas shop was around $11K.
