NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW (NIBS)

The Newport International Boat Show (NIBS) is recognized as one of the largest and most notable boat shows in the Northeast. Held in historic downtown Newport, Rhode Island, the show covers more than seventeen acres across multiple connected sites. Attendees can view an extensive selection of new sailboats and powerboats, with several models making their U.S. debut. The land exhibits feature a wide range of marine products, services, and accessories. Educational seminars, in-water training courses, and VIP programs are also available as part of the event.

NORWALK BOAT SHOW

The Norwalk Boat Show is a four-day, in-water event featuring more than 300 new boats. Located on the northern shore of Long Island Sound, Norwalk is a commuter hub for New York City and part of the greater metropolitan area. Boating has long been a favored activity in this affluent region of New England, and to encourage growth in the local marine industry, Connecticut recently reduced the sales tax on new boats from 6.35% to 2.99%.

ANNAPOLIS POWERBOAT SHOW

Each October, Ego Alley and Annapolis Harbor are transformed into a temporary marina for the Annapolis Powerboat Show.
