Here she is at last – the crown jewel of the legendary Oceanis line, the flagship of our great fleet – the new OCEANIS YACHT 60!
A glance at the drawings reveals she’s at least as beautiful as her smaller sister, the best-selling Oceanis Yacht 54. Both have a modern and elegant profile, as pretty as it is purposeful, with a lovely reverse sheer and a stern overhang that reveals a rudder like a dagger in sheath.
Make no mistake – despite her good looks, she was designed with real performance in mind, as much a “go” boat as she is a “show” boat. Just twenty-seven inches shorter than her predecessor, the venerable OY62, she’ll weigh in about ten thousand pounds lighter; and if the Biscontini-designed hull performs anything like the OY54, the new 60 will deliver real magic.
Her luxurious interior includes a dedicated owner’s corner with nav station, a nearly full-beam galley with cavernous storage and expansive work surfaces, and a master stateroom with a forward-facing walkaround bed that is typically found on much larger yachts.
