Description
Catnap was so loved she was completely refit and repowered in 2024.
The Nonsuch 30 Ultra is a notable sailboat with a rich history.
Developed by Hinterhoeller Yachts in the late 1970s, the Nonsuch line was designed by Mark Ellis and became popular for its unique features and performance. The Nonsuch 30 Ultra, specifically, is an evolution of the original Nonsuch 30, which was first launched in 1978.
Catnap is hull # 358 and has been with this family for over 20 years. During that time she was sailed every year throughout New England and diligently cared for by her capable owners. She was well loved and consistently upgraded and in 2024 had a major $60,000.00 refit.
This included new water, waste and fuel tanks, new engine beds, repowered with a Yanmar 3YM30AE with matching ZF transmission, 3 bladed Max Prop, new exhaust and underdeck hydraulic autopilot.
She also had her propane fired Hot Water Heater replaced as well as her windless, masthead wind instruments and LED Anchor light.
